About me

I grew up in Bavaria as the child of a German mother and an American father. Surrounded by linguistic differences and a shared passion for reading, my love for languages developed very early on!

After school, I spent seven months exploring the USA while working odd jobs in several states, which gave me a chance to further develop my language proficiency and also my understanding for foreign cultures. Working on the wine harvest in France years later was an amazing experience for much the same reasons.

Today, my fiancé and I live in Berlin where I explore all the parks this astoundingly green city has to offer, always on the lookout for mushrooms and interesting animals (pictured on the right). Other than that, I play the Ukulele rather badly, paint and devour one book after the other.
